PIP Announcement: Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Pilot Project

The Department of Education and Skills is looking to select two early learning and care settings to participate in a pilot project which will run over three years with the aim to improve learner competence, confidence and disposition to Irish in English-medium schools and early learning and care settings.  The approach being piloted (CLIL) provides for the delivery of aspects of the curriculum through a language that is not the medium of instruction in the school. The settings must be participating in the ECCE programme and implementing the Aistear curriculum framework.
