In County Roscommon, we are very lucky to have two excellent support systems in place for children with disabilities whom RCCC collaborate closely with. They are Roscommon Early Intervention Services (REIS) and the Brothers of Charity. Collaboratively we have developed a Welcome to Pre-school, Supporting Children with Additional Needs document.

Roscommon Early Intervention Services (REIS)

REIS aims to support children under six years of age and their families in meeting their developmental milestones in the areas of; Communication, Mobility, Learning and Sensory Skills.

Brother of Charity Services
The Brothers of Charity Services Roscommon aims to support people as individuals to make choices about their own lives instead of as members of a group. Given that the focus is on the individual rather than the group, it operates on a “your life” rather than a “your turn” basis.
