Opening of COVID 19 Capital Grant Application Process
The COVID 19 Capital grant application form will be available on the Early Years Platform (HIVE) from 10am on Monday the 22nd of June. All services must have an account set up on the Hive and will need to use their username and password to log in and access the form.
This is a once-off capital grant to assist with the costs of supporting ELC and SAC services to reopen and adhere to public health requirements and COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control Guidance for childcare and school age services. The amount of grant available to each Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare Service is based on the number of individual children registered in a service on one or more DCYA programmes on the 12th March 2020 and is available to view within each service’s application form.
Please read the Application Guidelines in detail before submitting an application as they provide detailed information on the capital works and equipment eligible under the grant. Please ensure you are happy with all the information on your application form before submission as applications cannot be changed once submitted.
The closing date for applications is 5pm, Friday 28th August.
