Important Closing Dates for Childcare Providers

Please note the following closing dates & information regarding CCSP closure date and also information on the National Childcare Scheme:

CCSP Closing Friday 15th November.

Reminder that CCSP will close on Friday, 15th November.    No new child registrations will be allowed on the CCSP scheme after this date.

Any changes to existing child registrations can only be made during ‘Saver Management Windows’

TEC programmes will remain open for new registrations until 14th February, 2020

Early Years Hive – Is your service parent ready?

Almost all early year’s service providers have now received an invitation to the Early Years Hive to complete a series of readiness steps.

All steps must be completed on the new Early Years Hive so that services will be Parent Ready on November 20th when the National Childcare Scheme is launched.

To ensure you are parent ready on 20th November the PAU for your organisation must complete the following steps:

1.       Click on the invitation link sent to the PAUs email address

2.       Complete the readiness tasks  by submitting the following:-

–          Bank account details;

–          Tusla registration;

–          Service calendar;

–          Fees list;

–          NCS Programme Application.

Once all of the above steps have been completed you will be ready to register CHICKS from parents wishing to avail of the National Childcare Scheme from 20th November.

The Early Years Hive will be available for new service providers to on-board from Tuesday 12th , November.

Applications for new DCYA reference number

Services should be able to apply for a new DCYA reference number starting 12/11/2019. Services will be able to go to hiveprereg.ncs.gov.ie and select the option to “Start On-boarding Process”. From there, they will be able to follow the steps to apply online to retrieve a new DCYA reference number.
