Breffni Childcare Service is looking for a Childcare Manager to join their friendly successful team

Breffni Community Childcare Service are looking a Childcare Manager to work on a full-time basis.

• Must have a minimum QQI Level 6 Early Years Qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or relevant equivalent.

• The Childcare manager will be responsible for the effective daily management of all aspects of the childcare service; in accordance with the requirements of the Policies and Procedures of the service, the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years’ Service) and other applicable policy and legislation.

• Relevant childcare practice experience is required alongside good leadership skills, inclusive of organisational and time management skills. The manager’s main objective is to ensure a safe, stimulating and child centered environment.

• The childcare manager will lead the childcare practitioner’s while adapting a positive, learning approach, ensuring support and supervision tasks are up to date. Partnership working with parents/guardians is an essential part of this role.
