PIP Announcement: Payments Update
We sincerely apologise for the delay in payments reaching service provider bank accounts this week, and fully acknowledge the pressure this may have put on some service providers. It was a ICT technical issue that took longer to resolve than expected and resulted in us missing the deadline we have with the bank which should ensure payments are in all service providers’ bank accounts for today. We made absolutely every effort to make the deadline but unfortunately narrowly missed it.
We can only confirm when the payments have left our bank account – we cannot confirm when they will be in service providers accounts as that is dependent on the processing times at the various banks. Payments were processed last evening for payment from the Pobal bank account, which is with the Bank of Ireland and we therefore expect that providers who have Bank of Ireland accounts will get their payments today. Providers banking with other banks should get their payments by Monday.
