The universal subsidy (CCSU)will be available for all children between the ages of 6 months and the time at which they are eligible to start the free pre-school programme, and who are not receiving any targeted CCS subvention. This is not means-tested and is available to families and children in Tusla-registered childcare either in community or private services.
The parent must provide both the child and parent PPS number to the childcare provider.
